The Vampire From The Extraordinarily Named Comic

Today's post offers a bit of a contrast to the hot anime/manga vampires of Vampire Knight.  The comic series Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: The Laughing Corpse - Necromancer has a hot vampire with a refreshingly old-school flair.  What do I mean by that?  Well, he has long hair, an aristocratic look, and wears one of those open-chested shirts that you only see on the cover of a historical romance novel.

If the character looks familiar, it may be because I first posted a pic of Jean-Claude (that's his name) in the fifth Misfits post.  Below, you'll find more pics from issues 2 and 3 of the comic, which features artwork by Ron Lim.

  1. While Jean Claude is sexy in the second series of comics, the artwork is a far cry from the quality Brett Booth brought to Guilty Pleasures. Makes me sad to see it, but all I can hope for is that they get a better artist for the next book adaption.

  2. Hmm, if he's hotter in the other series, I might have to look for it.
