New Kuroshitsuji

This July, a brand new season of Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) will begin airing in Japan. However, instead of focusing on Sebastian & Ciel, it will focus on a new butler and master. A pic of the new duo Claude Faustus (butler) and Alois Trancy (master) is above.

The new characters were designed by the creator of the manga and I appreciate that the new master looks a little older than Ciel. However, I think Sebastian is a little hotter than Claude. Judge for yourself by checking out the pics below, which include a couple more of the new characters and pics of characters from the manga and first anime series.

By the way, the manga is now available in America from Yen Press.

Happy Halloween 2009 - Anime and Others

Here's the second Halloween 2009 post featuring anime and other stuff.  Above is a pic from Kuroshitsuji and you'll find another one below:

The crew from Bleach gets into the act in this pic, although it's unfortunate that Renji is the mummy:

Next up are the guys from Pandora Hearts:

Some of the guys from the video game Haruka 3 celebrate in the next pic:

You'll believe vampires can have cat ears after this pic of the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle crew:

These last few pics aren't exactly Halloween-related, but they are appropriate.  Nero and Dante from Devil May Cry 4 are done in a different style for (what I believe) are a series of light novels:

Finally, in what might be a Halloween tradition, some vampires (and vampire hunters) from Vampire Knight:

Have a safe, and happy Halloween!

Even More Kuroshitsuji

Although the anime version has concluded, there's always time for more Kuroshitsuji.  For some reason, these posts go on four-month cycles.  The last Kuroshitsuji post was in February and the one before that (not counting the multiple-property Christmas post) was in October.  Weird, no?

More Kuroshitsuji

It's time to revisit the black butler himself with a new post filled with manga and anime artwork.  When I did the first Kuroshitsuji post back in October, I filed the art away in my miscellaneous folders because I didn't have that much.  Now, it has its own folder.
