The Brave and The Bold is a series from DC Comics where different heroes team up for a single issue story. A recent issue teamed Static (Teen Titans) with Black Lightning (JLA). Their pairing makes sense given their seemingly similar powers. An issue of JLA written by Static co-creator Dwayne McDuffie even had someone ask Black Lightning if he was Static's dad. The pencils for this issue are by Howard Porter.

Justice League: Cry For Justice
Justice League: Cry For Justice is a new mini-series. Although the writing isn't exactly the best, the art is great. Mauro Cascioli does the artwork here, which I think is digital painting.

Final Crisis: Submit
There have not been many minority characters here on HFG and that's something I definitely want to work on. A good start, though, can be found in Final Crisis: Submit which features Black Lightning and the Tattooed Man. Matthew Clark and Norm Rapund deliver the artwork.

JLA 20
Is it just me or does The Flash look hot in every comic book except his own title? Wally looked pretty beefy and muscular in Nightwing and appeared naked in the first issue of the new Titans series. Now, there is some nice artwork of him in the newest issue of Justice League of America.
The artwork in this issue (which is pretty fun to read, by the way) is by Ethan Van Sciver as opposed to regular artist Ed Benes.
Here are a few pics from the issue:
