More Fushigi Yuugi

Here is some more artwork of the guys from Fushigi Yuugi.  As a side note, sorry that the posts have been a bit scattered as of late.  It's a busy time for me at work and that has cut into the time I spend on HFG.  I'm going to try to post no fewer than every other day.

 

  

  

  

 

Fushigi Yuugi

Fushigi Yuugi is a manga created by Yuu Watase. It's the story of two best friends who are whisked into the universe of a book where they become dueling priestesses, each with their own group of protectors. The main character, Miaka, becomes the priestess of Suzaku and has a group of guys as her protectors. The guys of Fushigi Yuugi are among my earliest anime crushes.

This title has proved to pretty popular over the years. Apart from the original manga, there are a TV series, multiple OVA series, a series of novels, video games, and a prequel manga series. You can find the original manga from Viz. The anime was released by Geneon but as far as I know, it's out-of-print.
