I've been slacking off a bit when it comes to comics posts. The last one was back in...January. So, to make up for that, today's post is a Misfits special edition featuring nothing but comic pics.
First up is a great pic of Aquaman by Jesus Saiz from Brave and The Bold #33.
Mon-El strikes a Superman-like figure in this two-page spread by Bernard Chang from Superman #696.
Jean-Claude shows his stuff on the cover of the first issue of the next Anita Blake series by Brett Booth.
Next, here are two scans from Flash: Rebirth #6 by Ethan Van Sciver.
A long while back, someone requested pics of the Marvel hero Speedball (aka Penance). Well, I finally found a decent pic of him in Avengers: The Initiative #33 with art by Jorge Molina.
Mark Bagley, one of my favorite artists after his run on Ultimate Spider-Man, did the pencils for the cover and single interior scan from JLA #41.
I like John Cassaday's cover for The Lone Ranger #20. The guy in the pic is actually The Lone Ranger's friend Tonto.
This post concludes with three scans from Justice League: Rise and Fall Special. The first two spotlight Green Arrow from the front and the back. The third scan seems to be tailor-made for a certain blog. The credits for this comic list three different people for pencils but no page numbers. As such, I don't know who actually did these pages.
This concludes another Misfits post. Another manga/anime heavy Misfits post will be coming up in a couple of weeks. And don't forget...All-Request Week 2010 begins Monday.

Misfits #7
Today's post is the seventh installment of the ongoing Misfits series of posts. These are catch-alls for putting pics that would not necessarily warrant their own post.
Axis Powers Hetalia is a popular manga and anime that turns the countries of the world into bishounen. The character designs are a bit too "cute" for me but I have found a couple of pics I like:

The new fall anime Miracle Train also anthromorphizes places as bishounen, except this time they're Tokyo train stations. You have to wonder what they'll do this to next.
If you need another reason to check out the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum, then these screenshots of a seemingly shirtless Batman should do just nicely:
Rosario + Vampire is a manga/anime known for hot girls rather than hot guys, so finding one is a stroke of luck:
The same can also be said for the anime Demonbane, which is based on a hentai game. Lucky once again:
Hanasakeru Seishounen has an interesting pedigree. It's based on a manga by the creator of Jyu-Oh-Sei and the anime is directed by the same person who directed both seasons of the Junjou Romantica anime. This certainly explains the pics below:
Twinkle Stars is the latest manga by Natsuki Takaya, the creator of Fruits Basket. It may warrant a post by itself as more artwork comes out. In the meantime, here are a couple of the guys:
A while back, artist Goli Matsumoto was spotlighted. Here is some more of his work for the Beatmania games:
Here's a guy from the manga Air Gear:
And here's a guy from the manga Sket Dance:
This next pic was going to be used in one of the Guys of Fathom posts until I realized it was from Soulfire (another title created by Michael Turner).
I like the semi-old-school feel of the guys of Brave Command Dagwon. I say "semi" old-school because the anime hails from the mid-1990's.
Finally, it's time for some guys by the water. First up are some guys from Valkryia Chronicles, including one boldly wearing a speedo:
And we end things with this pic of the guys of Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei that's racier than it looks. I'm not sure if the guy in the yukata is wearing anything underneath it:
I hope you enjoyed this collection of Misfits.

Video Game Week Finale: Misfits #6
Video Game Week comes to a close with a special Misfits post. A Misfits post usually contains pics that could not support a full post by themselves. This time around, all the pics are from video games.
First up is the main character of the upcoming Wii shooter The Conduit:
This is the only artwork I could find of this guy from Saint's Row 2. If anyone has more art of the buff, shirtless guy in this picture, I'd love to see it.
First up is the main character of the upcoming Wii shooter The Conduit:
Next are three pics of two hot guys from the upcoming MMO APB, which allows you to play as either a criminal or a cop.
Kratos (who we just saw in the Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny post) will be returning to his own series in the upcoming God of War III. Hopefully, there will be a ton more art of him to follow the pic below:
The following pic of Deadpool was labeled as concept art from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. I'm really not sure if it is or not.
The Nintendo DS has an installment of the Tales series called Tales of Hearts that had an interesting release in Japan. You could buy the game in two different versions. One version had anime cinematics while the other had CG cinematics. See what version you prefer in the pics of two male characters below:
Batman is looking pretty good in the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Asylum as seen in these pics:
The following artwork is from a Conan The Barbarian video game, although I've forgotten which one.
This is the only artwork I could find of this guy from Saint's Row 2. If anyone has more art of the buff, shirtless guy in this picture, I'd love to see it.
I like the style of the sequel Army of Two: The 40th Day. I just wish I could see more of the guys again.
Finally, I somehow missed these four male characters from Virtua Fighter 5 completely when I originally featured the game.
I hope you enjoyed this special week of posts. Things go back to normal on Monday.
