Kamina and Simon

I figured it was time to revisit Gurren Lagann.  This time, though, the focus is solely on the characters of Kamina and Simon.  Check out this small smattering of pics.

 

  

  

 

Gurren Lagann

Gurren Lagann is a mecha anime series from Gainax, the same company that more or less revitalized the genre with Neon Genesis Evangelion.  I have to admit that I haven't seen this series yet but I want to because the art style is interesting and it looks like it's a whole lot of fun.

Apart from airing on Sci-fi Channel over the summer, the whole series has been released on subtitled-only DVD by Bandai Entertainment.  Bandai is also currently re-releasing the show on DVD in the tradtional bilingual English/Japanese format.
