Let's get 2011 off to a great start with a post featuring the guys of Cartoon Network's newest action series Young Justice. The screencaps in today's post are from the pilot, which aired in November. The show starts airing regularly later this month.
I liked the pilot and its unique take on the characters. It's sort of what I expected the Teen Titans cartoon to be like.
The image archive for today's post features over 200 bonus screencaps.

More DC Universe Online
It's been nearly a year since the previous post about the (still) upcoming MMORPG DC Universe Online. The last post contained only line art. Today's post contains mostly CG character renders.
There's more art of each of the characters that I didn't post, so there is a bonus archive linked at the end of the post. The game is still set to come out sometime this year.

Misfits #8: Comics
I've been slacking off a bit when it comes to comics posts. The last one was back in...January. So, to make up for that, today's post is a Misfits special edition featuring nothing but comic pics.
First up is a great pic of Aquaman by Jesus Saiz from Brave and The Bold #33.
Mon-El strikes a Superman-like figure in this two-page spread by Bernard Chang from Superman #696.
Jean-Claude shows his stuff on the cover of the first issue of the next Anita Blake series by Brett Booth.
Next, here are two scans from Flash: Rebirth #6 by Ethan Van Sciver.
A long while back, someone requested pics of the Marvel hero Speedball (aka Penance). Well, I finally found a decent pic of him in Avengers: The Initiative #33 with art by Jorge Molina.
Mark Bagley, one of my favorite artists after his run on Ultimate Spider-Man, did the pencils for the cover and single interior scan from JLA #41.
I like John Cassaday's cover for The Lone Ranger #20. The guy in the pic is actually The Lone Ranger's friend Tonto.
This post concludes with three scans from Justice League: Rise and Fall Special. The first two spotlight Green Arrow from the front and the back. The third scan seems to be tailor-made for a certain blog. The credits for this comic list three different people for pencils but no page numbers. As such, I don't know who actually did these pages.
This concludes another Misfits post. Another manga/anime heavy Misfits post will be coming up in a couple of weeks. And don't forget...All-Request Week 2010 begins Monday.

DC Universe Online
DC Universe Online is an upcoming MMORPG which lets players be heroes or villains in the DC Universe. You don't get to play as any of the beloved heroes but you do get to potentially fight alongside them.
Below, you'll find some character concept art for the game. It's set to hit PC and the PS3 sometime in 2010.

Blackest Night #0
Free Comic Book Day saw the Blackest Night promotion begin with a new original story. Below, you'll find some scans from the Blackest Night #0 issue. The pencils for the first three were done by Ivan Reis while the cool GL spread was penciled by Doug Mahnke. That spread proves that of all the color lanterns, Green has the hottest guys.
