All-Request Week 2010: Kyou Kara Maou

Today's All-Request Week 2010 post comes from AnnCha who wanted to see either Kyou Kara Maou or Saiunkoku Monogatari. I decided on Kyou Kara Maou for now but I'll do a Saiunkoku post in the near future.

This post has a mix of anime and manga art. Like all the All-Request Week 2010 posts, all the pics have been kept in their original size. For this post, it means the image archive is about 25 MB.

Artist Spotlight: Temari Matsumoto

Today's Artist Spotlight focuses on yaoi manga artist Temari Matsumoto.  She's done a good amount of manga but she may be best known for doing the art for Kyou Kara Maou.

This post features art from her manga and from Kyou Kara Maou.  The KKM scans come from the great site Portrait of A Demon King .

Merry Christmas! - Anime/Manga

It's time to celebrate Christmas HFG-style!  This first installment of Christmas pics has an anime/manga theme. There's a good variety to be found, including pics from shows I haven't even featured here yet.

First up, Kuroshitsuji's Ciel and Sebastian want to wish you a Merry Christmas:

Next, the Ouran High School Host Club descends from the sky bearing gifts:

Kagome tries to cuddle with Inuyasha in this pic:

Two of the couples from Junjou Romantica celebrate Christmas in these manga scans:

The Get Backers join in the Christmas fun as well:

The first Code Geass pic is a group pic while the second one has Lelouch wanting to show you a Merry Christmas:

The Christmas pics from Kyou Kara Maou are really cute.  Here are two of them:

I like Lockon's green Santa suit in this Gundam 00 pic:

The main characters of Gundam Seed/Gundam Seed Destiny seem to combine Christmas and New Year's in this pic:

The characters of Full Metal Alchemist go Christmas shopping in this pic:

I don't know if this La Corda pic is really Christmas-themed or not...but it does have snowflakes:

And finally, could you imagine if Santa looked like one of these guys from Prince of Tennis?:

Look for the second Christmas post later today!

Happy Halloween

With Halloween upon us, I figured it was time for some Halloween-themed pics.

First, we'll get the cute stuff out the way.  Here's a pic featuring the guys of Gundam 00:

Then, here's one with the guys of Kyou Kara Maou:

What's Halloween without vampires?  Here's a nice pic of the guys of the Night Class from Vampire Knight:

If there are vampires, then there are also those who hunt them.  Here's a pic of Walter from the manga/anime Hellsing:

Here's a single scan featuring Teen Titans' Kid Devil:

And lastly, two pics from the anime/manga series Yami no Matsuei (aka Descendants of Darkness).  It's essentially a shoujo horror series and coincidentally, it will be airing on Sci-Fi Channel's Ani-Monday beginning this Monday, November 3.

I hope you enjoyed this special post.  Have a safe, fun, and scary Halloween!
