E3, the big Video Game expo, has come and gone. Today's post features guys from some of the games featured at the show.

Hot Wheels Battle Force 5
Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 is the latest CGI show based on the toy line. Although the "official" debut is this Saturday, I caught it earlier this week on Cartoon Network. It's a typical, fun action show with some nice animation from Nerd Corps (the company behind Storm Hawks).
What caught my eye were the guys on the show. My fave is the lead character, Vert Wheeler. He's the only character to get an anime-esque transformation scene when he gets his costume for the first time.
Below are a couple of clips from the series.

Bloody Call
Some offline stuff is currently keeping me away from my computer (I'm posting from a shared one), so I won't be posting any images today. Instead, I'm posting a video.
The video is the opening/trailer for the upcoming otome (female-driven, hot guys all around) game Bloody Call. It has a dark storyline, a pair of hot twins, and the trailer actually has animation in it instead of pans of still pictures. I wonder if it will live up to all that.
The game's official site has some more artwork to check out.

Iron Man and Wolverine: Anime-Style
Two of the more interesting things to come out of Comic-con are the teasers for Marvel and Madhouse's upcoming anime versions of Iron Man and Wolverine.
While the Iron Man one doesn't give you any clue what Tony Stark looks like under the armor, the Wolverine one is a dramatic change. It's a bit different even from the American-manga version. I like the design, but at the same time it seems sort of "generic old-school shounen anime" to me.
Anyway, enjoy the videos below:

The Evolution of Chris Redfield
With the release of Resident Evil 5 this week, Game Trailers has decided to take a trip down memory lane with the game's hot lead character, Chris Redfield. The video below features clips of Chris from every RE game he's been in, right up to RE5. As the games get newer, Chris seems to get hotter. Long live technology!

Interstella 5555
A few years back, Daft Punk made a series of animated videos for songs off their album Discovery. Interstella 5555 is the feature-length movie made from those videos. The movie contains no dialogue and uses visuals to tell the story of an alien music group that is brainwashed and whisked away to Earth to become the next big thing. The only person who can save them is a space hero who is also the group's biggest fan.
There isn't a whole lot of artwork from this movie out there, so most of the pics are screencaps I made. The movie is available on DVD, although your best bet is getting it from an online store. I was never able to find it at an actual retail store.
Also, I've included the video for "Harder Better Faster Stronger" at the end of the post.

Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy VIII was the second Final Fantasy sequel for the PSOne. The main character of this game is Squall Leonhart and for me, he's the second hottest Final Fantasy male hero behind Final Fantasy VII's Cloud Strife.
At the end of this post, you'll find some goodies. First, there is some artwork of Squall from Kingdom Hearts and Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Then, you'll find the ballroom dance scene from FFVIII after that.

Junjou Romantica 2
I am definitely enjoying Junjou Romantica 2, the second season of the Junjou Romantica anime. The new season is just as much fun so far as the first and it remains my guilty pleasure (if only because it's unapologetic fluff).
As such, I figured that I would post some more artwork from both the show and the manga. Most of the manga illustrations by creator Shugiku Nakamura come from the Forever-More Gallery, which is linked in the sidebar. Also, since I didn't post the opening in the Fall 2008 Anime post, you'll find it at the end of this one.
