Young Justice: Five Years Later

The second season of Young Justice premiered last Saturday.  The new season takes place five years after the end of the first season.  Dick Grayson (who was Robin last season) is now Nightwing and, as you can see above, time has been very good to him. There's no sign of Wally, Red Arrow/Speedy, or current banner guy Kaldur yet. However, we do get to see Tim Drake as Robin.

More DC Universe Online

It's been nearly a year since the previous post about the (still) upcoming MMORPG DC Universe Online.  The last post contained only line art.  Today's post contains mostly CG character renders.

There's more art of each of the characters that I didn't post, so there is a bonus archive linked at the end of the post. The game is still set to come out sometime this year.

"Last" Time and New Beginning

Every time I think a comic is the last one we'll see of Dick Grayson as Nightwing, DC comes out with something else.  Batman #687 may very well be the "last" time we'll see Dick as Nightwing unless it's a flashback.  Ed Benes does the pencils for the pages below:

 

  

Then, in Batman #688, we get to see Dick as Batman.  I like him as Batman thus far (Batman & Robin is definitely worth checking out).  I wonder how long will he stay Batman.  Will it be something that's undone in a year or two (like the deaths of Superman and Captain America) or will it be semi-permanent (like the different Robins/Flashes)?  Mark Bagley does the pencils in the scans below:

 

 

DC Universe Online

DC Universe Online is an upcoming MMORPG which lets players be heroes or villains in the DC Universe.  You don't get to play as any of the beloved heroes but you do get to potentially fight alongside them.

Below, you'll find some character concept art for the game.  It's set to hit PC and the PS3 sometime in 2010.

 

  

  

  

Battle For The Cowl #3

The Battle For The Cowl miniseries comes to an end with issue #3.  The story kind of takes a dive in the final issue (poor Jason Todd) but Tony Daniel still brings the eyecandy.  This may be the last time we'll see Dick Grayson as Nightwing (especially with a new Kryptonian hero now using the name in Action Comics).  Well, at least until DC brings Bruce Wayne back eventually.
