Soul Eater

Soul Eater is a manga series created by Atsushi Okubo.  It centers on a group of students at a school where weapons (and their wielders) are trained and must rid the world of evil humans and witches to prevent the creation of evil demon gods.

What's appealing to me about Soul Eater is the art.  I like the funky style and the character designs. I kind of hesitated in doing a post about it because I wasn't sure what the reaction would be.  Frankly, though, not every anime/manga guy I post has to be a bishonen, right?

This post contains a mix of manga artwork and art from the recently ended anime version from BONES.  The original manga is currently being serialized in the Yen+ magazine from Yen Press in America.  Funimation has licensed the anime version and will probably release sometime in the future.
