The Guys of Star Ocean

Star Ocean is a series of RPG's from Square Enix with more of a sci-fi feel as opposed to fantasy.  The games have a small connection with the Tales games from Namco in that many of the people involved with Tales of Phantasia ended up starting the company that develops the Star Ocean games.

There are three main games for the series so far, although the first two games were recently remade for the PSP under the names Star Ocean: First Departure and Star Ocean: Second Evolution.  The second game in the series was made into a manga series and an anime series called Star Ocean EX.  The next main game, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, will be released on the Xbox 360 sometime next year.
