Orphen

Orphen was one of my early anime crushes. Although the character first originated in a series of Japanese novels, my first encounter with the character was the Sorcerous Stabber Orphen anime series (the name was shorted to just Orphen in America). The first season is a pretty good series wtih a nice mix of dark fantasy and a little humor. I didn't quite care for the second season, though.

 

  

  

  

  

  

 

Both seasons of the anime were released in America by ADV Films. Also, I thought you might enjoy this ad ADV made to promote the release of the original show. I believe this actually ran in a gay magazine.
