When I searched for pics of Terry Berg for the All-Request Week 2010 Extra post, I also happened to find plenty of nice pics of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner.
Today's post focuses on the events leading up to Kyle becoming Ion (for the first time). Kyle spends most of issues 144 & 145 of Green Lantern (v. 3) clad in nothing but white briefs. He even fights in them.
Below, you'll find a few scans from those issues featuring pencils by the great Dale Eaglesham.
One thing I have noticed over the years in comics is chest hair, and how it magically comes and goes on characters.
ReplyDeleteKyle is a prime example. In some issues he is all hairy and hot, while in others he is smooth. Not that he is ever NOT hot, they just need to leave the hair on him where it belongs. The same holds true for other unfortunate characters who go from hairy to twink. At least Superman has remained a hairy god over the years.
Hmmm...this could be an idea for a posting...comparisons of hairy and smooth on the same characters.
