12 Tender Killers in A Mixed-Up World

12 Tender Killers in A Mixed-Up World is a mobile phone game only available in Japan.  One of the producers of the game is Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid fame.

If the name sounds oddly familiar, it may be because artwork from this game has actually been featured here on HFG twice before.  One pic can be found in the fourth Misfits post while the other is in the spotlight post of the character designer, You Higuri.

BlazBlue

BlazBlue is a series of 2D fighting games from the people behind the Guilty Gear series.  You can see the same sense of style and cool character designs in this series even though the two aren't related.  Also, unlike Guilty Gear, this game is in high-definition.

The original game is available in America for both the X360 and the PS3 now with a PSP version and a sequel both likely on the way in 2010.

Otomen

Otomen is a shojo manga series by Aya Kanno with a unique premise.  The main character is a guy who's considered the coolest guy in school.  He does judo and karate and is even captain of the kendo team.

However, he has a secret.  He really likes so-called "girly" things like sweets, baking, sewing, and even reading shojo manga.  He falls for a girl but she's also different in that she can't do any of the girly stuff he's good at.

The manga is currently available in America from Viz Media.

Recommended Links: 12/4/2009

Time for some more links:

The last Recommended Links post featured a link to a video from Dragon Age: Origins with some surprising gay content.  Now, there's more guy/guy stuff in the game than initially thought.  (site NSFW)

Silencio has posted a video which condenses the hours of work he puts in on a piece into just a few minutes. (site NSFW)

Another artist, Kaze House, has put up a nice pic of Wiccan from Young Avengers. (site NSFW)

Just Beautiful Men spotlights the absolutely beautiful graphic novel Black Wade.

Meanwhile, Rain on The Roof reviews Nightlife, the new graphic novel from the author of MANLY. (site NSFW)

Chest of Chests focuses on the hot chests of tattooed comic book guys.

Finally, since a lot of people in the Shoutbox love The Humplex, this post ends with a link to a great (and seriously not worksafe) pic of Keric and a hot nerd. (site NSFW)

More Wildcat and Wildcat

Keeping the JSA theme going from the Magog post, here is a post featuring two of my favorite characters from JSA.  These pics come from the JSA 80-Page Special and the story has the younger Wildcat seemingly going back in time and finding out how he came to be.

Jerry Ordway did both the script and the art for this particular story.

Magog

Magog is a DC Comics character that first appeared in Kingdom Come.  Currently, the character appears in JSA and his own monthly title.

The interior pages in today's post are pencilled by Howard Porter while the covers are done by Glenn Fabry and Alex Ross.

Hanakage

Hanakage is the sequel to Hanamachi Monogatari.  Once again featuring artwork by Noboru Takatsuki, this game takes place a few years after the original.  There are both new characters and older versions of characters from the original game.

Below, you'll find some more art from the game that I could safely post here.  There seem to be more explicit scenes in this game than the first one.
