I'm taking some time off work this week which means that this post will be the first of a full week of posts. There will actually be a new post on HFG everyday for the next week.
Shiki (aka Corpse Demon) is a horror novel written by Fuyumi Ono that's also become a manga and an anime series. The story revolves around a series of mysterious deaths in a village during a very hot summer.
The manga artwork by Ryu Fujisaki probably isn't everyone's cup of tea. However, I like it. It has a unique look to it, especially in its use of color.
