When Marvel decided to resurrect Steve Rogers (the original Captain America) after killing him off, they did something interesting. They decided not to keep Rogers' successor, Bucky Barnes, as Captain America.
Now, Steve Rogers is the leader of the Secret Avengers where he wears a new costume that pretty much leaves nothing to the imagination.
