Superboy Goes Blonde

In the recent Young Justice episode "Terrors," Superboy and Miss Martian go undercover at a prison for supervillains as twins.  Thus, we get a chance to see Conner as a blonde.  I think he pulls it off pretty well.  Check out the pics below.

A Little More Daken

It's been more than a year since Wolverine's son Daken was featured on HFG.  Today's post features some scans from issues #9, 9.1, and 10 of his current series.  The art is by Marco Checchetto, Ron Garney, and Mateo Buffagni with Riley Rossmo.

Herc

The comic that was once known as The Incredible Hercules was relaunched a while back as simply Herc.  This time around, our hero is completely mortal.

Today's post features art from issues #1, 2, 6, and 6.1 of the series.  Pencils are by Neil Edwards and Mike Grell.

More Wolverine Anime-Style

I wasn't really intending on revisiting the Marvel Anime guys until I got some artwork from X-Men and Blade for the second part of this series.  As I started actually watching Wolverine, I realized that (like many anime) this show uses pans to help cut animation costs.  Also, this show especially likes using these pans over Wolvie himself.

Some screencapping and some stitching and now we've got more pics of Wolverine.  The pics below all come from the first half (eps 1-6) of the anime.

Metal Gear Solid

There are times when I think I posted something before but it turned out I hadn't. Today's post is one of those times. Somehow, I went all this time without ever featuring Solid Snake or the other guys of the Metal Gear Solid series. I guess HFG's 601st post is as good a time as any to remedy this. More art from various games in the series is below.

Flashpoint Cyborg: A Micropost

I really like this alternate cover of Flashpoint #1 penciled by Ivan Reis that features Cyborg.

Three Dimensions (Part Three): Video Game Guys

Today's post is the third part of the Three Dimensions series, focusing on statues, toys, and dioramas.  This time around, the focus is on the guys of video games in non-virtual form.

This statue of Vega from Pop Culture Shock shows the Street Fighter hottie unmasked:

Kratos, our favorite God of War, gets his due courtesy of Sideshow Collectibles:

Pop Culture Shock is behind this upcoming statue of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat:

Finally, some guys from Resident Evil courtesy of Hot Toys beginning with Krauser...
