La Corda d'Oro ~primo passo~

La Corda d'Oro (or Kin'iro no Corda) is a one of those romance games where a female character is surrounded by lots of hot guys. This one focuses on a girl at a prestigious school known for music.

This game got an anime version that started in 2006 called La Corda d'Oro ~primo passo~.

Here are a couple of pieces of artwork features the guys of this anime, courtesy of Random Galleries.

I'll post more of the anime art as well as some of the video game art in future posts.

Growlanser: Heritage Of War

Like the Langrisser games (which were part of an earlier post), the Growlanser games feature character designs by Satoshi Urushihara. The main characters of these games are all male and are all quite attractive (even if they aren't as muscular as the Langrisser guys).

The most recent game in the series is Growlanser: Heritage Of War.

Here is more of the artwork of the male characters from this game. Expect more art from earlier Growlanser games in future posts.

Matrix

I'm a big fan of ReBoot, the CG animated series that aired on ABC and Cartoon Network. Although I always had a bit of a crush on Bob, I loved looking at Matrix (the grown-up version of kid character Enzo) in the third season of the show.

Here are some pics of one of the hottest computer animated guys out there:

Langrisser

Artist Satoshi Urushihara is best known for drawing beautiful (and often naked) women. However, as the character designer for the Langrisser (and unrelated Growlanser) series of RPGs, he has also drawn plenty of hot guys too.

Here is a selection of the guys from the various Langrisser games. Some of these pics were originally acquired from the great site Dokuganryu.

Vampire Knight

Vampire Knight is the latest manga from Matsuri Hino, the creator of MeruPuri (one of my favorite manga). Like her previous work, Vampire Knight has its fair share of attractive guys, although this time most of them are vampires. This series is currently being serialized in Shojo Beat, although you can buy it in volumes. I picked up the first two volumes of this manga recently, which is what inspired this post.

Here is some of the great artwork from this manga series:

Vampire Knight will get an anime adaptation this Spring. Here's an early pic of what the anime looks like:

A Hunky Manga Man

Some say that guys in anime and manga are too skinny or girly for their tastes. For those of you who think that, the pic below is for you.

This hunk of beef is Asami Ryuichi from the manga Viewfinder by Yamane Ayano. This particular pic comes from her artbook Aya and was scanned by Pink Sakura at Anime Paper. I reduced the size of the scan quite a bit (by 75%!) because the original was huge. If you want the full-sized pic, you'll have to get it from the link above.

I have more (smaller) scans from Aya that I will post in the future.

Battered But Not Out

His uniform is torn and his face looks a little bloody, but Captain Marvel still looks quite sexy in this scan from issue 3 of the new Captain Marvel miniseries.

Devil May Cry 4

I've never played the Devil May Cry games, but I've always liked the main character Dante. However, with the recent release of Devil May Cry 4, the people at Capcom have added a new guy. Nero joins the cast in this game and he seems to be the main character this time around. I think this guy is quite attractive in his own right...even if he's battling Dante.
