Senko no Night Raid
Senko no Night Raid is an anime series taking place in the 1930's dealing with Japanese spies. It's part of the Anime no Chikara project, which means that it's original and not based on previously published material.
What I like about this show is the way the male characters dress. If there's one thing that never goes out of style, it is a guy dressed in a suit and tie.

Warlord of Mars
Warlord of Mars is a comic series based upon a series of novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The main character, John Carter, is a confederate general who is mysteriously transported to Mars. Fortunately for us, Carter has no clothes when he's transported.
The cover of issue #1 above is by Joe Jusko. The scans below from issues #2 and #3 feature art by Stephen Sadowski and Lui Antonio.

Ian Churchill's Marineman
Marineman is a cool new creator-owned comic written and drawn by Ian Churchill. Steve Ocean is a marine biologist with amazing undersea powers but don't dare call him Aquaman. One thing that sets him apart from that beloved hero is his physical size. He looks like what would happen if Steve Rogers took the super soldier serum again.
Check out some more art from the first two issues below and visit the official website for more info on the title.

More Psychic Detective Yakumo
There have been some pretty long hiatuses lately on HFG and I feel bad about that. There are a few reasons for them but I figure actions speak louder than words. So, today's post begins a week of new content including full and microposts!
To kick it off, I figured it was time to revisit Psychic Detective Yakumo, the novel series that has spawned live-action, manga, and anime adaptations. Today's post puts a little more emphasis on the recently concluded anime version. I also included some art/screencaps that featured other male characters.

Young Justice
Let's get 2011 off to a great start with a post featuring the guys of Cartoon Network's newest action series Young Justice. The screencaps in today's post are from the pilot, which aired in November. The show starts airing regularly later this month.
I liked the pilot and its unique take on the characters. It's sort of what I expected the Teen Titans cartoon to be like.
The image archive for today's post features over 200 bonus screencaps.
