Supernatural: The Anime
The CW TV series Supernatural is following in the footsteps of Wolverine and Iron Man in that it's becoming an anime.
Below, you'll find the first (unconfirmed) designs for the main characters. These designs were based on the actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. What do you think? Sound off in the comments or the shoutbox.

Tales of Vesperia
Tales of Vesperia is an RPG and part of the long-running Tales series from Bandai Namco. The Tales series has been featured here on HFG before but this is the first time that one of the games has warranted its own post.
In addition to the X360 game, Tales of Vesperia also became the first Tales game to get a feature film. Last year, Production I.G. made an anime film that served as a prequel to the game.
Below, you'll find a mix of artwork from both the game and the anime.

Where You Least Expect It: Queen Sonja
A while back, I did a micro-post about Angel Beats because I wasn't expecting to see any attractive guys in that show. Today's post is about another case where I found some hotness I didn't expect.
When I see a half-naked girl on the cover of a comic book, I usually assume any cake inside is going to be of the cheese variety. However, I was pleasantly surprised at issue #7 of Queen Sonja. This issue features a hunky character named Ariok who also has a little daughter to boot. I don't know how long he's going to be around (the issues with Ariok and Queen Sonja battling) but I hope we get to see more of him.
Below you'll find more scans from issue #7 and a single scan from issue #6. The pencils for all the pages (and the cover above) are by Jackson Herbert.

Even More Sengoku Basara
The last time the guys of Sengoku Basara were featured on HFG was in September of last year. It's been too long. Plus, the new season of the anime premieres in Japan in July. All the more reason for some more pics of the guys.
Most of the pics come from the anime but I've also snuck in a couple of video game illustrations too.

More DC Universe Online
It's been nearly a year since the previous post about the (still) upcoming MMORPG DC Universe Online. The last post contained only line art. Today's post contains mostly CG character renders.
There's more art of each of the characters that I didn't post, so there is a bonus archive linked at the end of the post. The game is still set to come out sometime this year.
