Bane In The Buff

So, how does Secret Six follow its pinup-worthy shot of Dick Grayson's butt in last month's issue?  Well, by having the beefiest guy on the team appear nude, that's how.

Bane gets the beefcake treatment this time around as seen in the scans below.  Once again, Nicola Scott provides the pencils.  Now, all we need is Deadshot to get the same treatment that Catman and Bane have had.

 

  

A Single Scan Is All That Is Needed

The new issue of Secret Six features one awesome shot that manages to be both fanservice for fans of the male body (which this series has had before ) and a response to the preferred position that male artists seem to have for female characters.  Props must go to Nicola Scott for her great artwork and writer Gail Simone for sneaking this in.

More Catman

I am really enjoying the new Secret Six comic series, especially since there has been ample Catman eye candy.  The first issue had him nude.  The second issue had him fighting Batman.  Now, the third issue features another nude flashback. 

Nicola Scott has done the pencils for all three issues so far and frankly, I hope she stays on the title for the foreseeable future.

The Cat vs. The Bat

I know that some of you read the the title of this post and thought that the "cat" refers to Batman's longtime foe/ally Catwoman.  It doesn't.  It refers to Catman, who fights Batman to keep him distracted in the latest issue of the new Secret Six comic book series. 

The scenes between the two of them take up half of the book, so I'll only be posting a few scans.  However, there's a nice bonus scan of Catman from the previous issue of Secret Six at the end.
